Electroplated mounted points are ideal for dressing, sculpting, internal grinding, and precision grinding. They come in two main types, including electroplated diamond mounted points (used for carbide, ceramics, glass, and sapphire materials) and electroplated CBN mounted points (for tough material such as high carbon and high chrome hardened steels. Electroplated mounted points are characterized by incredible strength and durability because of their high bond strength, which lowers the risks or chances of premature pull-out of the abrasive grains.
